This beautiful 1950s old mine cut diamond cluster ring in 18 carat gold is a gorgeous vintage find.
Ten scintillating old mine cut diamonds have been carefully chosen for this piece. Each stone would have been expertly cut by hand, and from the way they have been cut, we date the stones to the Edwardian era. The stones have been beautifully set in an 18 carat white gold setting - contrasting with the slim D-shaped yellow gold band which measures approximately 1.7mm in width - with a stunning rub-over style outline. We estimate the diamonds to weigh a combined total of 0.40 carats. From the ring's design, and the way it has been crafted, we think it's a later creation than the age of the diamonds, dating to around the 1950s.
The ring is stamped 18 carat and we believe it's English. It's currently sized to a UK 'L1/2', US 6, but could be altered.
This is a beautiful ring, with a unique design, and lots of history to it.
