This antique platinum dress ring is typical of the Art Deco period with its spectacular design. The ring features centrally two old mine cut diamonds in a rectangular, open back, milgrain edged setting. The piece is further decorated with 16 old European cut diamonds of different sizes accented by delicate milgrain detail throughout the open work rectangular panel. Finally, the intricate mount merges perfectly into a delicate hand carved band completing the wonderful piece. The diamonds come to an approximate total weight of 2.20ct. America, circa 1920's.
