This stunning vintage sapphire and diamond cluster ring would be equally perfect as an engagement ring, or as a right hand ring.
A sumptuous oval sapphire weighing an estimated 1.25 carats or more, is discretely claw-set into this gorgeous diamond-set rectangular ring. The sapphire has an absolutely divine colour and lustre, and is surrounded by 16 gorgeous round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing a combined estimate of 0.50 carats. The ring has been beautifully designed, with a combination of white and yellow gold used in the setting to accentuate the diamonds, flowing into a buttery 18 carat yellow gold band measuring 1.7mm in width.
The ring is hallmarked 18 carat and Birmingham. The date stamp is worn, but we date the ring to around the 1960s. It is currently sized to a UK Q but could be altered.
