0.39 Carat Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring in 18 Carat Yellow and White Gold

Small pierced details and a crown shaped setting bring a delicate touch to this English diamond solitaire engagement ring, finely crafted in 18 carat yellow and white gold.

A beautiful 0.39ct brilliant cut diamond sits proudly at the centre, held in an eight claw white gold setting. Known as a rex or crown collet, the setting has open sides beneath the claws, revealing the diamond's depth when viewed from an angle.

On either side, the tapered yellow gold shoulders feature a delicate pierced design, rising gracefully towards the setting and flowing into a smooth, polished band.

Dating from the 1960s, the ring is stamped '18CT' for 18 carat gold. It weighs 2.86 grams and is currently a UK finger size 'N 1/2', with resizing available upon request.
