This beautifully handcrafted Art Deco cocktail ring features an elongated, gently tapered plaque that sits gracefully across the finger. Measuring approximately 22.6 x 9.4mm, its generous proportions allow the intricate platinum work and carefully arranged gemstones to be appreciated from every angle.
At its centre is a baguette cut deep blue sapphire, elegantly framed by a border of 20 eight cut diamonds that draws the eye to the centre of the design. Narrow rows of square baguette cut sapphires sit above and below, leading into beautifully pierced panels where rose cut diamonds are arranged in vertical rows within fine platinum bars. Delicate geometric open work separates each section, while fine milgrain edging throughout provides a subtle contrast to the clean lines, enhancing the ring's refined Art Deco character.
Together, the diamonds have an approximate combined weight of 0.30ct, while the sapphires weigh approximately 0.70ct in total.
Made in England during the 1920s, the ring has been tested and confirmed as platinum. It weighs 2.74 grams and is a UK finger size M½, although it can be resized upon request.
