Inspired by Princess Diana's celebrated engagement ring, this sapphire and diamond cluster ring brings together a rich blue sapphire and bright diamonds.
At its heart sits an impressive oval shaped blue sapphire of approximately 2.50ct, securely held in a four claw 18 carat white gold, open back setting. Its deep blue facets reveal brighter flashes of blue as they catch the light, beautifully contrasted by the surrounding halo of fourteen high quality round brilliant cut diamonds.
Each diamond is individually claw set, creating a softly scalloped outline that follows the sapphire's oval shape and gives the cluster an elegant presence on the finger. Together, the diamonds have a combined estimated weight of approximately 1.00ct.
A smooth 18 carat yellow gold tapered band rises gently at the shoulders to meet the cluster, adding a warm contrast to the bright white gold above.
Finally, the piece measures approximately 15.6 x 13.2mm at the top, weighs 4.80 grams and is currently a UK finger size 'N', although it can be resized upon request. Stamped 750.
