Crafted in 18 carat rose gold, this late Victorian hinged bangle has that beautiful soft tone only time can create.
Along the front sit five old cushion cut blue sapphires, alternating with six old mine cut diamonds, each one held in fine claw settings. The sapphires display a captivating deep royal blue hue and have a combined weight of approximately 3.00ct. In between, the old cut diamonds bring a gentle brightness, their slightly irregular facets catching the light in that distinctive way only antique stones do, totalling approximately 1.80ct.
Shaped in a gentle oval, the bangle sits wonderfully against the wrist and feels comfortable to wear, weighing 10.3 grams. The reverse is smooth and polished, and it closes with a concealed clasp, complete with its original safety chain, a charming Victorian detail.
