A striking vintage four stone diamond ring dating to the 1960s, with a sweeping crossover design that gives it its distinctive shape.
Crafted in solid 18 carat yellow gold, the ring is set with four round brilliant cut diamonds, totalling approximately 1.00ct. Each diamond is individually claw set in a gently curved row, framed by the yellow gold crossover shoulders.
The gold shoulders sweep around the diamonds from opposite directions, framing the row and creating the crossover effect. Viewed from the side, the open setting raises the diamonds slightly above the finger, while the smooth, rounded band makes the ring comfortable to wear.
A wonderful example of 1960s jewellery, it works beautifully as a dress ring and would also make an unusual alternative to a more traditional diamond ring.
Of Russian origin, the ring is stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. It weighs 4.66 grams and is a UK finger size 'O', with resizing available upon request.
